• Please note that there will be no refunds for any person who resigns his/her individual membership due to being included subsequently in employer’s corporate
membership.
The data collected from you will be processed, kept and used by the Association for purposes related to the Association's activities. It may be disclosed to other members and third parties in connection with such purposes.

The Association may not be able to consider and process your membership without the data. You may access and correct your data at any time by writing to the Secretary of the Association.
Your attention is drawn to the excerpt of our by-laws reproduced below concerning eligibility of membership of the Association.

As from Oct 7, 2004, HKCCA's By-Laws state that Overseas Membership shall be open to:
| (a) |
All corporate legal counsel in the Hong Kong S.A.R., including legal counsel working in government or public institutions or in a capacity as tax, trademark and /
or patent counsel, or in a company secretarial or contract management/administration function; |
(b) |
Such other persons engaged in the provision of legal, contract management/administration or corporate secretarial services or other related activities as the
Executive Committee may in its absolute discretion deem appropriate.; |

In addition, no person shall be invited to be admitted as a member and the Executive Committee shall not consider any application for membership if the applicant:
- is an undischarged bankrupt whether in Hong Kong or elsewhere or
- is in the opinion of the Executive Committee, not a fit and proper person to be admitted as a member.
